  • What makes Power Arrangers different from other electricity consultants?
We work ONLY for our clients, and take no back-end fee - ever. Are you using an electricity Broker to help you find electricity for "no fee"? Then they are getting paid a part of every kWh that you use - that's built into the rate they quote you.  Their "margin" is whatever they can get you to buy.  So you ARE paying them a fee, you just don't know what it is. Are they putting you with the best deal or the deal that makes them the most fee?  Power Arrangers is 100% upfront with our compensation.  We ONLY get paid if we save YOU money, and WE SHOW YOU how much money you can expect to save.

We also DO NOT ask you for a Power of Attorney to "take over" your electricity account.  We think that companies that do so are taking too much control of YOUR account and can (and DO) change you plan BEFORE ASKING YOUR APPROVAL.  You have to act quickly if you do NOT want the plan they have put you on. Power Arrangers NEVER takes control of your electricity.
  • What parts of Texas do you serve?
Deregulation of the Texas electricity markets only took place in certain parts of the State, including most of Greater Dallas / Fort Worth and Houston, as well as some other cities.  The cities of Austin and San Antonio did not participate in deregulation, and they have city-owned electricity companies.  We service ALL deregulated areas of the State of Texas.   • How do you analyze plans based on our usage history?
We are experienced in data analysis. Our training is in quantitative and mathematical analysis and in business, including the Retail Electric business. We do not use algorithms or automated tools that work most of the time, but not all of the time. Our analysis is done by people, with expertise and with customer-focus.  This personal attention is part of what makes Power Arrangers a better choice. Our focus is completely on doing a great job for you, not pushing you through an assembly line.
  • How do you determine the fee for your service?
Unlike our competitors, we only charge you a fee if we can demonstrate we can save you money over your current plan or renewal offer.  If we can't save you money, our analysis is our way of giving you peace of mind that you have a good deal.  But if we can provide you with a better option, we ask to share in your savings.  For certain types of customers, usage history is not available for determining savings. In those cases, we offer our analysis for a flat fee.  WE NEVER CHARGE A FEE IF WE CAN'T SAVE YOU MONEY.

  • What personal information do you collect, and how do you use it?
We collect only your name, address, phone number and email address.  We use this to obtain your electicity meter's ESID, and with that, we can obtain your usage history.  Unlike some other companies, we NEVER ask you for your Social Security Number.  We guarantee the confidentiality of your information as a term of our client agreement.
  • How often will you switch my Retail Electric Provider?
We will NOT switch your plan for you, EVER, because we do not take control of your electricity account.  We review your options and our recommendations, and then, we sit together and enroll you in a new plan.  Depending on rates at the time of your enrollment, and our estimate of future rate trends, we will recommend a terms and plans that serves your interests not just today, but looking forward to future renewals.
